S'More's! No Bake
Sure, you could go out and buy Mallomars. But why go out, when you can whip these up in under 10 minutes, and they taste so much fresher, richer and better? They're so simple, yet every time I make them, both adults, and kids flip over them. Hopefully you will too.
Ingredients:
8 cups of graham cracker cerial, OR 8 cups of graham crackers, broken up in to 1/2 inch pieces.
6 cups of mini marshmallow's
5 tbsp unsweetened butter, cut in to pieces
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate morsels
2 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (not pancake syrup)
Directions:
Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Pour cereal in to large bowl. (Or graham cracker pieces)
Microwave 5 cups of marshmallows, morsels, butter, and corn syrup in large microwaveable bowl, for about 2 to 31/2 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in vanilla extract.
Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal. Stir until well coated. Stir in remaining marshmallows. Then press mixture evenly in to prepared pan.
Refrigerate for about 1 hour and cut in to about 24 bars.
Marshmallows become hard once exposed to air. So, if you have leftovers, then either cover the pan well, with plastic wrap, or even better, individually wrap each square in plastic wrap. Enjoy!
